FLAIR SOFTWARE

All our motion control systems run from the award winning "FLAIR" software. Developed in conjunction with our operators, it has been continually updated and improved upon since it was first introduced in 1993.

It has a whole host of programming solutions available from simple 2 line moves to the more complex multi pass scaling shots.
All move programmes can be stored into a non volatile unlimited memory bank and recalled at will.

Final move data can be output as 3D co-ordinates giving an exact camera position per frame. Extra information can also be linked to this data such as model mover positions or lens information.

Through the use of custom software, 3D data can also be imported to the system and used to give accurate camera paths from computer generated moves.

A hardware interface allows the software to command external devices such as remote switches, sync (bloop) lights, lighting desks and video recorders or it can be commanded from external sources such as timecode and remote switches.

The use of the "Mimic" function allows direct input and recording of a manual motion of an axis which can then be saved or smoothed as required.
